The Integrated Design Curriculum (IDC) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that provides broad-based knowledge for design practice. Today's designers must be informed problem-solvers who thrive in an evolving design world of global networks and technological innovation. Through an integrated study of design, technology, and the liberal arts, the program develops highly skilled designers with a critical awareness of the complex environment they will engage in as professionals. Collaboration, teamwork, writing, analysis, critique, verbal expression, and presentation are all integral to this course of study. In the IDC, we have created a socially conscious community in which students share a vision of what design may achieve.
